As far as whether it's better having a leak or getting the actual RC for testing and evalution I'll simply wait until seen on Technet there. That way there's no Chinese lettering seen on the next and ok buttons!

What should get you on that thread is the link to MS with everyone talking about May 5th until you arrive at the MS page to see "Windows 7 Virtual Partner Readiness Day: May 7, 2009"!

Nowhere is the any mention of May 5th suggesting people are getting that date from outside sources. What I'll be waiting for is when it is actually seen there rather then being glued to one date in particular.

(gee? when going download the x86 7000 build I first had to put up with disconnections with the old dsl setup here while going for the x64 7000 a few times seeing the other delayed a day longer plus heavy traffic telling me things are subject to change...)
