Windows 7 LOAD HELP

ok i installed windows 7 on my second partition and after that i decided to get rid of old partition of windows vista and delted it then i got a boot mbg or something error basically it deleted the boot.ini or whatever u call it for windows vista so nothing loaded after that i torrented a windows 7 recovery cd bc i still did not get my windows 7 cd from the digital river program no worries i did nothing illegal after that it kinda fixed it like evrything works perfectly but the gui like the windows 7 logo is very very distorted then it goes black and my desktop appears everything works flawless i just want to fix the boot i tried to do all the bootrec.exe stuff but nothing fixes it go figure any1 knw how?

I've been reading about issues with the Digital River downloads. More info on that here:

Try this:
Go to Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disk
Use that disk to run Startup Repair.
If that doesn't fix things, then I'd suggest a full reinstall of Win7 (after reading the stuff at the links above). That way you'll start out with a nice fresh copy of Win7 - without the problematic stuff that you've been encountering on your current copy.
