Windows 7 Low Performance while Gaming?

I keep getting a windows pop up everynow and then when im gaming saying that windows has noticed my performance is really low would I like to switch to a basic etc. etc. Im not sure how this is even possible with my setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive checked my temps on both my GPU/CPU and they are all within normal range and this last time I got it while I was gaming both my GPU/CPU were under half load.

i dont really know but it might fix it
or just delete some stuff that makes your computer faster

yup can run pretty much anything maxed out i lol'ed when i saw this

Perhaps it is an issue with a particular game itself. Many older games, as well as some new ones tend to turn off Aero by default, probably by "accident". What I do is just switch to the Aero basic theme before turning on any games that push my hardware, and thus I never saw this message myself again.

Soo, windows keeps showing you popups, but is the game running the way you want it?
This is an important point, you said that both are on ~50% load (means wether you have Vsync on, or it is a software problem)
How many fps are u getting?
