Can I play one thing from my speakers and another from my headset using the mixer?. My headset is usb and my speakers are 3mm jack or whatever it is. I want to play music through the speakers and hear ventrillo through the headset.

To do this you have to have programs that have individually selectable output devices.

A perfect example is the free/donateware audio editor "Audacity". You can select any available device for input and output.

If you use something like Winamp to play music, you can choose the output device, at least you could on the older Winamp classic. If Ventrillo can set it's output device... then you would be in business.
