Hello

I have a Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit, 32 Gig Ram and my Windows .Net needs to be repaired. Yes I did go into the control panel and run repair but that did not fix it. MS says they need $149.00 to fix it. Can anyone help please?

What's Windows 7 .net? Do you mean .NET Framework?

There's the .NET Framework Repair Tool here.

I followed the link to MS. I didn't see a tool. Last week Friday I had already run a MS Tool to fix it.

I wanted to update this and explain what I did. I installed Windows 7 pro as a Windows update which goes through and in effect fixes everything. One must download all the updates but you dont loose your software licenses and you dont have to call or send emails to get them back. The biggest thing is one must use a version of Windows equal to what you have installed. So I had SP1 installed and I had to use a Windows install disk that included SP1 or it would not have run. JFYI!

I worked with MS to install MS Net 4 and I wanted to share what I learned. I ran the fix remove MS dot Net for MS dot Net 4.5.2. WRONG. One needs to run it for 4.5.2, then 4.5, then 4.0 and lastly 3.5 at a minimum. I.E., the major revisions for MS dot Net. That is what is necessary before it is re installed. One can start at 4.0, i.e., install ms dot Net 4.0, then 4.5 and lastly 4.5.2 (latest version) and everything works. So thank you for all your help and I hope this help you fix stuff in the future. I will close this in a couple of days and hopefully all have had a chance to read this. Thanks again for all your help!

I posted a big explanation as to what i did. Essentially it was a reload of Windows 7. And MS had to spend lots of time fixing dot Net. whereever that is.
