After my earlier thread, I asked my brother to install W7 on his computer using my HDD, all well and good and I plug my HDD back in my computer.Problem is the new windows 7 installation does not boot.It starts the little starting windows animation, freezes for a milisecond then my computer restarts.
I've attempted to run startup repair with and without my W7 DVD several times, but to no success. This would be part one of my problem.
Part two would be me installing XP on a seprate partition to try and find out how to fix it (I am currently using that XP install to post this) and now, being unable to start up the windows 7 partition through the F8 boot menu.I think using some partition program would fix this, but there's so many, and to be honest I don't really have a clue how to use them
