Hello, I understand that if you buy an OEM disk instead of a retail copy that the OS is tied to MB, so if you want to upgrade the MB later you have to buy another disk.
1-If I replace the MB with the same model, will this cause a problem?
2-If I choose to upgrade to Windows 8, when available, is it still tied to the MB or can I now upgrade the MB?
If I install, choose not to activate until my 30 days are up and have a bad board can I do the following?
3-Replace with same model MB?
4-Replace with any MB?
5-If I can replace with the same or another MB. Do I just install when I get the new MB or do I call MS and explain the problem.
6-Does the MB need to be replaced within the original 30 day period?
Thanks.
