Windows 7 Pro Fresh Install - 125GB in size

Hi

In preperation for Windows 10 Pro, I've got a brand new Crucial BX200 240gb and installed Windows 7 Pro, the only other software I've installed is Avast and Macrium reflect as I was going to create a backup incase the Windows 10 install went screwy.

Somehow windows 7 Pro, avast and Macrium reflect are taking up 125 gb on the SSD?

Any ideas whats happened.

Run WizTree to see where your space is being used.
They have a Portable ZIP available, no installation needed.

Thanks - somehow i've got a 63.9 GB pagefile and a 47.9 gb hiberfil.sys file - how can I fix this problem?

How much RAM do you have ?

If you don't use hibernate you can disable it with this elevated CMD:
powercfg -h off

Disabling hibernate will delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can manually adjust the pagefile size using the Custom Size option.

Reboot after making any changes.
