Windows 7 Pro x64 continues to change desktop background

I am running Window 7 Pro x64 on a self built computer with Asus F2A55M-LK motherboard. The problem is that when I go into Power Options and set Desktop Background Setting, Slide Show to paused the Desktop Background changes anyway. I have set the setting back to Available several times and then reset it to Paused but the background continues to change. Anyone know why and how to stop the Desktop Background from being changed like it is set to Available. Thanks.

Hi kemperhills,
Right-click desktop > personalize > choose the associated desktop background slideshow
Lower-left part of page click Desktop Background
select the image you want from the slideshow and uncheck slideshow > save changes
