In windows 7 "Change Advanced Power Settings" menu in "Energy Options", there's a parameter called "Processor Power Management", where I can choose a minimium and maximum processor speed (in % of full speed). My laptop CPU is a Core i3-2350M (actually 2294,94 GHz), the BUS speed is 100 MHz (actually 99,78 MHz), and obviously, the maximum multiplier is 23x.
Do you know if I can freely change the processor percentage in order to change the clock speed?Or are the multiplier changes locked?I mean, can I set to this percentage to 50% or less, or in this line of laptop CPUs these changes are locked by some of that features, like Intel SpeedStep, Dynamic Frequency Technology? Thanks.
Specs:
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium
CPU: Core i3-2350M @ 2.3 GHz
