Windows 7 Professional x86

So I just installed windows 7 Professional for a friend...and after installation i found that there were no windows games...like chess, minesweeper...

I doubt this is how its supposed to be but I am not sure...I've never installed Professional edition before...i've always been between home premium & ultimate and they both have those windows games...

Please advise if this is an installation issue or its just supposed to be like this

First, where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

Make sure games are enabled. Type turn windows features into the start menu and click on it.

Games are the top entry.

Hmm, why didn't you say earlier. You could have had mine, but I deleted them all - just bloatware. LOL

The Professional version does not have Games enabled by default.
It is meant for corporate environments. Employees are not suppose to be playing games.

Yep, as Logicearth post, you will need to turn on the games in Windows Features to have them available afterwards.

They are turned off by default in Windows 7 Professional.

Yep, as Logicearth post, you will need to turn on the games in Windows Features to have them available afterwards.

They are turned off by default in Windows 7 Professional.
