hello i am new to this forum i just have a question. i am running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit, and thru my college i can get windows 7 professional; i have 2 options 64 bit or 86. i am running an intel i7 740QM, Nvidia GeeForce GTX 460M, with 8GB ram, should i get the 64 or the 86

If you're already used to a 7 x64bits home premium you should stick with a 7 x64bits pro edition...seeing also your config.

Unless you need to run smoother some programs with windows 7 professional like Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 or MS Office 2010, you should install a x32bits Windows 7 Pro ed. but you'll be limited in Ram use.

Use 64 bit. It is recommended if you have 4gb or RAM or more.
