I apologize - I know I made a post about this a while back, but I have since forgot what the solution was and so I have to ask again. Old age, ya know...lol.

Anyway, I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. A problem I run into every once is when I click on a program icon in the taskbar that program never opens. This doesn't happen a lot, but enough to be annoying. I have never found any solution or even a clue to what could be causing this in all the forums and web sites I've visited.

Whatever info you need me to post I will be glad to do it. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you.

Hi Desktop. Welcome back. :geek:

According to this post, you found the answer elsewhere, but don't say where or what the answer was:

http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/106812-programs-sometimes-dont-open.html#post923813

It's always good to go back to the forum wherever you posted the question to update the thread with whatever solution you may have found.

At any rate, have you tried this?:

Programs won't open from Windows taskbar

Also, here is a google search on the matter:

Windows 7 Programs Don't Open From Taskbar - Google Search

Post back and let us know if your problem is not resolved. If this does resolve your problem, please post back to let su know what worked. It helps others who might be searching for the same answer.

James

Hi James,

Thanks for the reply. Like I said, I do not remember the solution or even what forum that was. I tried those solutions you linked to, and I've searched Google for the solution as well, with no go.
