Woooowww! It is ultimately amazing how seven fixed a mistake without me doing anything! I was messing with my bootscreen, and after a PC reboot got a BSOD. I said "Oh, great i f|_|C|< eD up again", but, no! Next time, seven got this startup repair manager or whatever and repaired it immediately! I would have gotten pics but the thing was done too fast (lol)! Then the computer rebooted like always, no changes, not even to the log-on screen! I'm amazed by how far Microsoft have come with their new OS, hopefully more pleasent surprises lie ahead! Who knows what the official SP1 would be like?!

It is very nice to see how well Microsoft has come with this OS from what they have had. The repair feature has greatly been improved since Win2k, never got the thing to work right for me, then XP it they had the system restore which was good for 80% of the people out there. Then came Vista they updated both the Auto repair and the system restore, they where ok but still not what they should be. Now with Windows 7 indexing, UAC, System restore and the Auto Repair all updated and all work like they should, yes they could be tweaked alittle but then again what doesnt need tweaking in the world of computers and software.
I'm happy to hear you didn't kill your system.

Those are the people who have good PC's, know a lot about computers, but are just too afraid, or too LAME to try something new. They probably want to stick with XP... I am still amazed at the power of 7 and how fast it gains popularity. My mom usually ALWAYS likes to be with the stuff she knows and some of the older things, but after I told her about my 7 BSOD auto-repair today, she said "Wow, sounds great! You may even make me install the thing." I couldn't beleive what I heard...
