Hello. I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit)
i5 750, 8GB RAM, ASUS SuperComputer Motherboard, ATI HD 5850

I keep getting random BSOD. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm playing games or not. I have tried updating all my drivers but still get the BSOD. Can someone help?

Thanks

Welcome to SF!

Start by removing Norton. It is a well-known cause of BSODs.

Use this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Install Microsoft Security Essentials as a replacement.

Install this Realtek network driver: 218.210.127.131/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Also, run a RAM test. See here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

A hard drive test is also in order. See here: HD Diagnostic

It looks like the jcgriff2 app was terminated abruptly, before it had finished. If you need more help, could you run that program again, and upload the output folder?

Thanks for the response. Computer will not allow me to boot, seems to freeze before boot every time. I'm not sure how to get around that so I can do the tests and provide you the correct dump files.

I was able to Boot after I removed 2 sticks of RAM. I also attached the dump files and have since deleted norton. I'll run the RAM test overnight and will let you know the result. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks, perhaps RAM is the issue. Run the Memtest with all sticks in.
