Windows 7 RC Build 7100 Suggestions

There is only two things I think could be made better in Windows 7..


So Far..

1. Defragment needs a link to logs or/and colour display of fragments..
2. Windows 7 Experience - I get 5.9 slowest on HDD and RAM - I'd like to see a link that could show me/others what couldn't be run on my config, therefore showing me the need to update and Possibly what I to update..?

I Believe with my score I should pretty much be able to run anything..
which is why i built such a computer, but as time goes by there will be something eventually I need to upgrade for.

Other than that, Its been so far so good...

hi bloke28, and welcome to the forums!

as you say, you have a good system and shouldn't have any problems running any software, although i'm a bit surprised by your memory score - try running the test again with no apps running in the background.

a lot of people get 5.9 for their drives, it doesn't seem to matter if they have velociraptors or fancy raid setups, 5.9 is what they get.

it seems the only way to get higher scores is to buy an ultra-expensive (and oh so desirable) ssd drive.

i really hope the windows team rethink the wei in future updates/service packs - i'm not going to be pleased if my os won't let me play the latest super-duper game because it thinks i have a slow harddrive!
