Windows 7 RC thru update?

So, if I have the Beta 7000 Build will I be able to update it from there, or will a fresh install be required?

Secondly, is the beta key from the 7000 build still good?

it wont be available through update
and for the supposed RC that is available through torrents the beta keys work, so i'm assuming they will work for the RC
