Windows 7 RC Vs Windows 7 7127 build

Any Major difference between Windows 7 RC Vs Windows 7 7127 build since there is a gap of 16 days between these 2 compilation's...??

Or just the bugs are fixed ?

Any other change did u find in 7127 build ?

Yup, the rumour was that builds post 7122 include some sort of DX fixes to increase game compatability. I tested 7127 with NWN2 (which doesn't run under 7100 without some nasty fixes) and the game ran fine after a standard install.

Less bugs! dhcpv6 client actualy works correctly in this build in stateful configuration and they fixed "default icon" (that green checkbox) if default printer is network printer. And most important i didnt notice any NEW bug (builds before always had 3 bugs squashed 1 introduced or something like that)

Ah so there was a problem with networking, for the past few builds ive not been able to enable IPv6 meaning my network location was stuck and greyed out on Public

For a difference I found: I couldn't install MS Virtual PC 2007 SP1 on Windows 7100, now I can. My main problem is, if I install a newer nvidia geforce driver than the stock one, my philips LCD 190 WV can't work the 1440x900 resolution. There's no option to switch to that.

Anyway, I could use some help about a language pack. I'm Hungarian, and for the Windows 7 RC 7100 finally there's a Hungarian Language Pack. Now my question is, is there a way to "convert" it to work with this new build. If there is, how?? Can someone please tell me? Thank you.

Undercover ran in the other builds if you used 179.43 drivers. For some reason 181s and 185's would not run it. I have still put 179.43s on because I lose 2 points in the wei with the 85s.

Seems nvidia are really f**king things up lately with their drivers.

Zanarkand just download the pack to desktop then open control panel, region and languages then click on the tab keyboard and languages. Go to where you just saved it to and there you go.

Ah so there was a problem with networking, for the past few builds ive not been able to enable IPv6 meaning my network location was stuck and greyed out on Public

Main problem is, default win7 have installed teredo ipv6 tunnel and since this build (7127) you can actualy remove it in device manager (before you needed edit registry so this is new as well), but main problem is, TEREDO is ****, packetloss, downtimes etc. What i do is i remove default teredo tunnel and im using "my" own tunnel over sixxs and runing my own dhcpv6 server for my network subnet.

I tried it but when I select the LP it says "The Language Pack cannot be installed on this computer " .

So far my system is crash and hang free.. but I have not installed office 07 with the SP2 and SP3 updates.. that is what appeared to kill my 7100 install

UPDATE 1 hour later.....
Office 2007 installed.. no SP updates.. works 100% right now.. very very fast compared to my broken 7100 install... I may pass on the SP updates for Office at least 2 days.

The colors are better. My greens are really brighter and greener like there were in XP..
I am going to use BitDefender Beta 2010 since it is suppose to be for Win7 this time. AVG seem like it was a possible problem too.

My laptop jumped from a 3.5 gaming graphics to a 5.0 just by installing the WDDM 1.1 driver for 7, I doubt it improved its performace anywhere near that much, WEI scores are not ready yet

I played Undercover on a *variety* of builds and never had an issue playing it. I'll install it on the RC here to prove it in a couple of days....

I dunno - My WEI doesn't change but with successive WDDM drivers the OS itself is a lot smoother. I'll stick with stability over WEI score, which is at 5.9 for me anyway.

I'll be the brave one and install M$O07 and fully update it - it's never given me a problem on any build thus far, so I expect none now....

Me neither, but it is a bit disconcerting when a previous build or two told me my pair of GTX260s were worth a measily 2.x rating in the Business department....

I have updated 7100 over 4 times now

I have had no problems with running it 16 hours a day.

Mine has been rebooted like 4 times in 2 weeks....Other than the G15 drivers being stupid, I ma having a blast in 7 RC.

i've been running 7100 for the past month or so and apart from my 2 control panel icon issue (see separate thread) i have had absolutely no problems at all. my question then is, having read all previous posts, is there any reason, apart from the fact that it is the latest build, to install 7127? unless i'm missing something it appears that it would be of no great advantage to me. like i said, everything runs exceptionally well on 7100
