windows 7 repair wont repair

the other night i was playing an online game. when i was done i went to desktop and java wanted to update as soon as it started updating the laptop restarted and wanted to do a windows repair and sure enough it cant repair anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without having to do a system dump and if so how do i back up my hard drive without being able to get into windows plzzzz help before my bride to be kills me

I think I'd give System Restore a try if you have a restore point that goes back to a date/time prior to when the problem began. You may have to try in Safe Mode.

If you can do a System Restore I'd then run a full scan with the free Malwarebytes. You can download from the CNET site using the big grray button on the left that says Download Now (9MB).
