Windows 7 Search Function Completely Gone

I got you Mike.

It just isn't turning on or being recognized so it can be turned on.
I'm good at digging thru the tutorials but can't find a fix either.

I asked Brink to take a look if and when he gets on line today.
He may have some further insights.

Try running System File Checker in an elevated command prompt (option two):

If that doesn't get the missing feature back, try a Repair Install to preserve user accounts, data, programs, and system drivers.
