I did a search for `name:".aiff"` in my C:\Users\Dave folder, and it found results in a zip file, which is in the wrong location, but when I go to figure out where to drag the file from, the zip file is not there...

I'm not sure how to better explain this without pictures and you probably wouldn't believe me otherwise:

Clicking on the address path shows:
search-ms:displayname=Search%20Results%20in%20Dave&crumb=location:C%3A%5CUsers%5CDave\Stealing Axion - BFS9 AIFF.zip

If I try to go to "C:\Users\Dave\Stealing Axion - BFS9 AIFF.zip", it says "Windows can't find"... I'm perplexed. I can literally copies these files (in the results) and paste them elsewhere... but I'd rather just move the original zip file... which apparently only exists in the alter-world of Windows Search.

Now I'm afraid that there are other files I might need that show only in search... which is a bit scary. What else will show that I don't expect?!

How do I figure out why it's showing non-existent files in search only, and how do I figure out how to get the original zip file?

Thanks, that would have worked; I ended up just cutting them and pasting them to where they were supposed to be, which was on a network drive.
