I installed Windows 7 on a Vista laptop using a manufacturer disk.
After that it installed few updates, including SP1. Latest one was the update client (an older one, the kb ending in 810 I think) and searching for updates would take forever. So I installed the new client (ending in 812) and it found almost 200 updates.
Now I am starting to install these one by one, some of them I also hide.
I install one update, restart, Win7 starts searching for updates.
I hide one update, Win7 starts searching for updates.
Is this normal? Why does it start searching by itself after I install or hide an update?
