Hello everyone i want to know how to hide a service in windows 7 so it doesnt show in services list

I am quite certain there is no provision for hiding services from Service manager. This could be exploited by malicious software.

You were able to do that in XP through GPEDIT.MSC. Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / System Services. But that is no longer available in Win-7. Vulnerability issues.

i want to install torrent to start as a service (i actually did that) but i want to hide it from the reset of the users i guess hiding it from the taskmanager is equally imposible.. i read you have to install some king of patch to get full Group Police Editor options in windows 7.
