As the title says, I have a big problem with windows 7, yes I know I am not the first one:p. Uhm, to put it this way, right now I have installed windows XP. I have two hard disks, both around 75MB. With installing windows XP I decided to combine them, so now I have a Disk C, wich contains 100GB and disk D containing 20GB. Harddisk D is my master hard disk. Here I stored XP as well as adobe and other important things to run my pc smoothley. Disk C was there to store games, movies, music and go on.

Now I made a back up for my pc and formatted disk C. I put in the installation disk for windows 7 and it takes about 15 min (or more) to finally get to the setup screen. There is my problem. Disk C is shown as a 75GB disk. But disk D is nowere to be found. I can see it in diskmanagement (I have assigned a letter) and it is seen in 'my computer'. I used BIOS to place the master disk first and I used BIOS to read the DVD drive first so windows 7 cd will be automatically launched. I also looked at windows 7 tutorials but they can't help me out.

My thinking was to format D then as well but if it goes wrong I lost everything and then I won't be able to use my pc at all, I am a student so I really need it.

Please help me out!

Greets,

"Boot from Win 7 cd, select language, keyboard setup....click next and select repair computer."

When I boot with my Win 7 cd in it it will go automatically to the setup and then there the list of harddisks appear with only one disk. So where can I select language, keyboard setup and so on to find repair computer?
