That looks like adobe went overkill on file associations. I think it may take a long time to fix it changing all associations back, but it's just that adobe associated itself with every single program so it wants to open file in it instead. Try the system rewind tool (I'm afraid I can't remember what it's called offhand, but it's preinstalled in windows). Hopefully it hasn't been affected as well.

Hi, welcome to the forums :)

What's happened is the default file associations for .EXE has been changed. The following tutorial can be used to help you

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html

Make sure to download the .EXE registry file, run it and reboot. Your programs should then have their icons and associations restored.

OS

My problem solved.

Thank you very much .. i have downloaded that registry file and applied on my system as well.

Thanks all and BTW Very Quick forum.. haha
