Windows 7 Slow Boot

I read many posts in many forums the past 24 hours, and find nothing that works.
I install windows 7 x64 and the system boots in 7 minutes i tough that's because of characteristics of my notebook (i mean the missing driver for x64 in the official site), and I install the x32 version, but it turns out that wasn't the problem (the drivers for x64 was in the archive for x32, and i felt a bit stupid ). The x32 version boots in 2 minutes. I try to fix it from the boot option but no luck the same 2 minutes. I activate the OS boot log, and saw that all the drivers are booted for about 10 sec and the rest of the time (1min and 50sec) is stuck on the kernel screen (Windows (R).....multy processor.....kernel). Before windows 7 I was with Vista Ultimate x32 and it boots in 20-25 sec. I'm open to any suggestion!

The hardware of my notebook are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7350
VGA: ATI HD3450
RAM: 4GB

I can most likely tell you what the problem is.

Type system information in the start menu search box. Hit enter. Ctrl+s on the screen that opens.

Zip or rar the saved file and attach to a post using the paperclip.

32 bit = x86....it's never referred to as x32

x86 is the architecture for 32 bit.
x64_86 is the architecture for 64 bit but that's commonly abbreviated as you did, to simply x64.

Sorry for the x86 (32bit) it just slip like that. And it doesn't let me clip the nfo it gives me invalid file

Alright. You have many things opening with Windows. We can get rid of them for a better overall system.

Type Regedit in the start menu, hit enter.

Navigate to

HKEY_Local_Machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Delete:

MaxMenuMgr
PSUNMain
MGSysCtrl
RthDVCpl
IAAnotif
ITSecMng
StartCCC
OSQLauncher

Then type services.msc in the start menu search box, hit enter. Disable:

AMD External Events Utility
Seagate Service
Micro Star SCM

Reboot and enjoy.

So that works but get it down with 5 sec, witch is perfect for normal boot time, but mien is still 2min - 5sec. I've read that someone with problem like miens fix it after updating his BIOS but also wrote that there ware some outcome problems witch I'm a bit scare to face that's why haven't try that. Also I have my doubts because vista runs perfectly and boot really fast.

It's always good in all cases to update to latest bios. So give that a try.

Hi again, i hope no to write in this post ever again .
I still don't know what the problem was but just fore test I install a friend of miens Windows 7 Professional and the problem was gone, witch send mi in insane laughter. We try the my ultimate on his PS and no problem . So with a final try on my ultimate, one last (i hope) clean install and few agreement later we switch windows, so now I'm running his x86 Windows 7 Pro and hi runs my Ultimate.
I'll miss mineswiper and solitar but that's the life I prefer to live without them, just to have fast boot (15 sec, now that's fast boot around 40 from power on to desktop, ready to use )

IMHO, I would attribute the Windows Updates/ CBS failures to Panda - assuming that its firewall was active. I would also consider such a 3rd party firewall to be one of the reasons for slow-boot. Did you have Panda installed in your Vista system (or similar 3rd party firewall)?

What about UPEK, Inc. Security? msinfo32 shows about 20 loaded drivers with April 2008 timestamps - these are too old to run in a Windows 7 environment, let alone the clashing (in-fighting) probably being done with the installed Panda product. I would suggest its removal.

Also, I took note that you are accessing the Internet via wifi with an Atheros AR928X NIC - which is fine. However, there are 5 Bluetooth system services that are firing at boot - if you do not use bluetooth - disable them all. Go into System Services - change all Bluetooth to "Disable"
START | services.msc

Check in with the Device Manager as well - there may be Bluetooth Boot drivers kicking off - get rid of them as well -
START | devmgmt.msc

I would also suggest that you defrag drive d:, if not already done. There is ~96 GB used on the 170 GB partition.
