Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Update

Hi.

I have not yet installed Service Pack 1. Does this mean please that some Windows Update files will not install until I have installed SP1?

Any assistance would be most welcome.

Let Windows Update present you with the updates and then install them. One of the updates will be for SP1.

the XP days are gone. when MS presents with updates, then install them.

I've never gone wrong with this philosophy.
