Ever since I installed the update yesterday I can not get a long term connection for Windows Live Messenger or Yahoo Messenger plus my internet browsing is effected, it is so much slower.

Anyone else having this problem?

I can say, I have had no issues since installing SP1 on 4 systems with Yahoo messenger or anything else for that matter. I don't use Windows Live messenger however.

I also upgraded Win7 to SP1 this morning and since, Windows Live Messenger 2011 has stopped working. I also use Pigeon for my IM accounts which used to also work fine prior to the upgrade but whilst it connects to my Yahoo and AIM accounts, MSN does not connect. I can connect to Windows Live Messenger on the web but not with the client itself!

Windows Firewall is off and I have also disabled my 3rd party AV and Firewall. So there must be a port or something getting blocked. Going to try a netsh reset winsock command to see if it's down to a corrupt Winsock stack but it's very odd.
