Updated continually by Microsoft, the latest version of the System Update Readiness Tool is designed to play nice with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

In addition to playing nice with Windows 7 SP1, the System Update Readiness Tool also supports Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, as well as older versions of Windows, including Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 R2.

For those not familiar with the solution, Microsoft offers the System Update Readiness Tool in order to resolve what the company calls certain conditions which can cause the installation of updates to fail.
