Windows 7 starts up in classic mode, then freezes, and no internet. Pl

Ok, So I have tried to run a antivirus scan in safe mode, but it stops half way. and tried to download a new antivirus, but also when I go to Safe Mode with networking, It still wont let me connect to internet. Its like when I run normal Mode, its just starting up in regular safe mode, and same thing when I run Safe Mode w/ networking. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
