Solved Windows 7 suspected faulty installation media or process

Hi, i have been reformatting my PC for quite sometime and before, it ran and was completed SUCCESSFULLY. But now, when i try to reinstall my OS, it installs quite "well" or so i thought meaning, the OS completed installation with no errors or problems being reported but as i use the FRESHLY formatted PC, it starts to slow down meaning the processor can't seem to handle the same work as it did before, data transfer rate slowed down dramatically, some programs fails to install perfectly, audio not working, startup/shutdown slower, etc., which is totally not the way it used to behave before.

Sys info:
AMD Athlon XII 245 x2 proci
Hitachi 500gb SATA 7200rpm
Kingston 2gb DDR3 ram
hp dvd read/writer SATA

installation media:
copied bootable dvd iso 1yr old


scanned with avg with no threats detected.

Replace the AVG crapware, which is recommended by no one here, with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Did you follow closely the steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7 Factory OEM - which are the same for retail? Pay close attention to how drivers are handled in Win7 which is different than XP.

If that doesn't help then work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
starting with a Clean Boot, hardware tests, logs, Solutions, drivers.

*this is a another PC. its a generic desktop pc so i dont worry about bloatware...

and i have a bad experience with MSE 2 years before that's why i replaced it with AVG. it served me well before but as this thread goes, suddenly the PC is acting wierd even after clean reinstall and reformat. i did the SFC /scannow and found no errors whatsoever. also do i need to check for Hardware voltage and temp? i downloaded HW monitor and is looking into a possibility of a wrong voltage or overheating prob. is there a cheat sheet where i can see what the right voltage for each component is?

You do not want freeloaders on your startup/shutdown, CPU/RAM, all spying on you whether it's a desktop or laptop.

ok... downloaded MSE and will try to install later on. BTW, trying to get a new copy of Windows 7 x86 Installation disk coz i have a bad feeling that my DVD sumhow got some errors since i just copied it on the fly. i've been googling for "best practices" on burning a installation DVD but cannot find one. another forum says that i have to limit the burning speed to like 2x or 4x because according to them, if i burn it to a much faster speed, it might get some errors of some sort of which im not really sure of...

I've had this problem before when my laptop got a virus and erased the HDD. I tried reinstalling and reformating many times but I just ended up replacing the HDD.

Did you wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean or Clean All Command? Nothing can possiblly remain on it.

If probs persist beyond that it is likely mechanical which can be diagnosed and repaired by maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan, or file system dysfunction remedied by Disk Check

FIXED!!
I was right. The boot media(Win7 Installation DVD) has some sort of errors. Although I'm not sure whether the installation process is also faulty. I had the DVD for almost 1 and a half years but it doesn't have major scratches that would make it easier to identify if it were the cause of the faulty installation. But when i did some surface/file readability scans, an error popped out.
