As an iPhone user there is a anti glear cover that I have, it makes finger prints invisible and while I like the idea of rumors of touch, think that HP touch is pretty cool (must get tired on the arms though), as a musician, I could only imagine a PC that was more like a mixing board in that it layed flat and while Microsoft seems to have a jump on Apple with regard to touch in the OS, excluding iPhone, (also have to wait and see what happens with Snow Leopard), I think we will see tablets and note books that double as a laptop, similar to what's out there now, but with touch.
As a composer, I could for sure, see an audio program where you could use two hands and use a virtual mixer to bring up, down, mute, eq, various tracks like a real mixer.
Point is, there are sheets (disposible and keeps them in NEW condition) that would cost around $20.00~$30 dollars that would prevent smudges. I think Microsoft will be the leader in this. Only way I see Apple going beyond 10/15% would be a large scale corporation presence or Apple releasing their OS to certain 3rd parties, ala Dell, HP. In theory, its possible now as a person can build a hack and it wouldn't be to hard to offer the OS on a few hardware manufactures and have a smalled trained staff to troubleshoot it. Would love to see that as booting up mac and micro would be pretty cool without having to buy mac hardware (bootcamp/fusion/parallels).
What product are you you talking about? I know android is coming and there is supposed to be a good Win mobile coming but is it out yet on a touch phone? The newest touch that's supposed to be really cool (and will go look at it now online (thanks, haha)), is apparently the Palm Pre (spelling).
Happy MLK day!!
