Hi all
Back in XP days (still have it on a DVD) it was possible to make a "Live" Windows XP type system that ran from a DVD. You could also add some applications as well which made this quite a good recovery tool.
You could also make this runnable from a USB as well.
I've googled a bit -- but can't seem to find if there are any Windows 7 equivalents to this type of application.
With the old BARTPE disk you needed of course your copy of Windows XP to create it but it worked very well indeed.
How to make a USB-key bootable with BartPE
Any links to a similar W7 type application -- appreciate it
Cheers
