I have a few old games that I liked and wanted to use them again, so I downloaded Windows XP mode from MS and installed it. I went into the BIOS to enable Virtual Machine and into windows features and turned on Virtual Machine.
I also downloaded Windos6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu , when I click on it starts something and then tells me: the update is not applicable to your computer.
So I click on Start, all programs, windows virtual PC, windows XP mode and the first time setup starts. The green progress indicator is moving to the right and just as it comes to the end it tells me: Could not complete setup-Please try again.
I have tried several times, all with the same results.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Sven
