I have an IMAC and am running a dual boot with Vista Ultimate 32bit. IMAC, however, is 64bit, I recently purchased my student copy of Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from my school's software provider. When I try to do the clean install because my Vista is 32bit I get the following when system boots up:

1.
2.
Which cd boot option would like to use: _

However, as you can see there are no visable options and none of the keys will respond when pressed. Please help!

Hi kp1erce! Welcome to SF! One of the options (1 or 2) should be an upgrade, the other a clean install. Did you try pressing a number followed by enter? Also, make sure you begin the install correctly. Did you try using Vista to autorun the CD instead of a boot-up?

Yes,
I get the following message:

This installation disc isn't compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For inofrmation, check you computer's system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select custom.

However, when I try to boot from the disc, I get the command prompt.

Try typing "D:\setup.exe" (no quotation marks) (where D: is the letter of the DVD Drive).
