Hello guys I need my windows 7 ultimate cd back tried using microsoft's tool to download it from their software download page with my key but it does not work yes i bought it legit i dont know why its not working appreciate all of the help that can be provided

i had a key from my old machine it was a OEM Activation I've tried everything i can but it does not work i already contacted them. I need to put it on my mother's pc

You can`t use an oem key to download windows 7 from that site, it has to be a retail key, that site is useless.

You`ll have to use other methods to download a copy of Ultimate, but without a key, how will you activate it on moms PC ?

You need to re install the OS that came with moms PC using the key on her COA to activate it, or buy windows 7 oem from Newegg. Or Windows 10

Yep you also can not move a oem key to another machine
You'll have to contact the computer manufacture or just go to Amazon/ Newegg and buy a new oem/ system builders copy which will come with a new key.
But will need to be clean installed.

You could also create a universal install disc, but that would still mean you need a Home Premium or Professional disc to start with.
