Solved windows 7 updates

I am new to the forum. I cannot get these updates to install. they are kb2539636, kb2468871, kb2533523. followed directions, fix-it, etc. have hp pavilion dv6-1245dx, with windows 7 home premium. get error code 00000643 dt000. need some help. gwd

i also have this same issue... and would greatly appreciate any assistance to resolve this problem.

Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Reliability Update 1 (KB2533523)
Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 KB2468871
Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4

Download the correct language and version for your system ..Install them manually >>> FIXED!

That was going to be my suggestion as the first thing to try.

Others having problems try what Joshua posted and if you continue having problems post back here.

Download, install and reboot if prompted one update at a time.

This is very important to be sucessful.

i did try installing one at a time, but had no luck.
kept gettin error 643 dt000.

That one includes any of the 32bit needed.

IA is for Itanium server version. Definitely don't want that one.

It isn't necessary on all updates to reboot/restart.
Reboot/restart if prompted by Windows after install.
Windows finishes installation when you log back into Windows.

IA64.exe an x64.exe an x86.exe ... or do i need all.. i use 64 bit IE 9 .... but also have 32 bit IE 9

Internet Explorer x86 is the 32-bit version of the browser while IE x64 is the 64-bit version.

You can use either one of the two and you may find that IE x64 loads a bit quicker although you may find there are issues with Adobe Flash x64. Adobe have released a beta version of their Flash 64-bit application, but we're still waiting for the full working version for IE9 x64.

I guess not really ..I went for the important one first (the one that is checked first on auto update) followed by the other two ( any order )

on the very first link when page opens it shows 3 files, do you download all of them
or just the first file?

depending on your OS, you probably need x64 (for 64bit) or x86 (for 32bit)

I was just hit by this tonight. The fix it tools for this didn't fix anything.

I'm installing 64bit version manually as suggested.

Doing this manually, am I just putting off the problem for another day? Is there a tool that will _really_ fix windows update properly?

I don't think this fix is temporary ..I've updated after this (2 updates) and experienced no troubles
