Windows 7 Upgrade/Install Question

Just wondering if it is possible to mount the disc image with daemon or something similar and do an upgrade/install.

you cant install or upgrade from an iso mounted as a virtual disc.

when windows reboots it will not be able to access the disc.

thanks for the reply, but upgrading worked for me with powerISO, not sure about installation though.

upgrading worked probably because the setup files were copied when the disc was mounted, so after the reboot the installation could still continue with the files in hand. yep. methinks it happens that way at least.

I simply extracted the 7077 ISO to a folder on the desktop and upgraded from it. Worked great, and quick (no cd drive access time or extraction time)
