Windows 7 upgrade to SP1 failing

Hello all,

I am trying to upgrade my OEM windows 7 to SP1 but it seems to be an issue through either windows update or manual update..

I ran sfc /scannow - it showing no errors...

I am copying the CBS folder error and can anybody help me..

the results from that are pointing me towards you installing KB971033, it should update the missing manifest file.

Run the kb rerun the other 2, copy/paste the output.

How old is this install ?

How old is your installer ?

Why doesn`t it have SP1 already on it ?

Do reply #2 from this thread and you won`t have anymore update issues.

Windows Update will not update and I've tried multiple fixes

If you tell us what version, what language and what bit version you want, we can post the direct Microsoft link to download a Windows 7 SP1 Iso file so you can create an install dvd or usb stick.
