Windows 7 USB Device Driver Installation Error

Hi all! This is my first post and I greatly appreciate any input/help!
I recently bought a refurbished Hp m6-1035dx, with OEM windows home premium 64bit.
Additionally I also purchased a Samsung 830 SSD and and Optical Bay Caddy. My plan is to install the SSD in the Main Drive Bay and tranfer the current stock hitachi HDD into the Optic Bay. I was considering cloning my OS to the SSD, but decided to go for a fresh install of Windows 7 instead, considering my current OS files take up 40gb (which seems like a lot to me). So considering I have an OEM Win7 I opted to try the USB installation, using the guide provided on this forum. Everything was going well until I received the Device Driver error message "A required CD/DVD device driver is missing...etc" which is followed by the option to browse for the device driver. I have read numerous forums on this issue and none of the solutions have worked for me. For example I have tried switching the USB ports, I have actually tried all my USB ports, with no success. Some forums suggest I load the SATA/RAID drivers into my USB and then select those through the browse option. I have no tried this yet, as I have thus far been unsuccessful in locating these drivers. My next move was to burn the ISO onto a disc instead.
Does anyone have any ideas?!

Added Info:
I used the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to make ISO bootable on USB
Downloaded x17-58997.iso image from official site.
Formatted the SSD using cmd;
diskpart
list disk
select disk n
clean
etc...
Mobo model is
687229-001

Take the Caddy out and replace the DVD drive and install from that, burning a DVd of the Win 7 ISO.

Could be that HP needs some type of USB driver for the USB ports to work correctly.
you shouldn't have a problem with a DVD install as that is controlled by the SATA ports.

I just tried using a CD to install and I got the same error :/
Any other suggestions?

If you replace the SSD with the HD does installer see the HD and proceed with Install normally?

If not Download another ISO and burn another CD or write another flash stick from Steps 1/2 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 since the error is almost always a bad installer.

Check in BIOS setup to see if you have an EFI Boot disk in BIOS boot order.

Reset BIOS to defaults, then set SATA controller to AHCI to try install, iDE mode if that fails.

Also check with the manufacturer of the SSD for a firmware update. The firmware version now installed on the SSD should be printed on the drive case, label, someplace.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Unfortunately my BIOS seems to be limited/locked.
I downloaded a different ISO image, and loaded it to my USB and I ran the install without error (so far fingers crossed).
If it works I'll post the link to hopefully help other people

As to your BIOS being lock that does not happen unless someone purposely put a BIOS security password on it.

Could be you are not using the correct key, or key combo, to access the BIOS setup screens when the computer first starts.

Most failures to boot into BIOS, boot disk, and activate are user error.

Are you able to run the SSD from your caddy now? Is that how you wanted to run it?

I mean I can access the BIOS but I just have very limited options. I can change the clock, booting options, and some other insignificant features. But Luckily I didn't need to mess with that.
I downloaded a different win7 iso (x15-65733 instead of x17-58997) from Download Windows 7 ISO (Official 32-bit and 64-bit Direct Download Links) [Archive] - My Digital Life Forums and that iso worked for me without error!
I did have to be mindful to put the USB in the 2.0 and NOT the 3.0 jack.

Greg, actually I put the old HDD into the caddy and put the SSD in the computers main bay. I am relatively certain that my laptop wont let me run OS from the caddy.
