I just came across an article describing WARP. Basically, it allows you to play games and do graphics-intensive tasks without a good video card, and maybe even without an accelerated card at all, using the CPU instead. However, all the articles I found were from back in 2008. Does anyone know if Warp made it into the retail version? How do you enable it?

Less than likely. Don't count on playing any standard PC game from the last many years without a dedicated graphics accelerator.

i believe it wasn't put in, but support was added to use the GPU and CPU in tandem to accelerate things like decoding/recoding
