Windows 7 will not let me access my 3TB external HDD anymore :(

Yay...more bad news...I downloaded EaseUS Data Recover Wizard free edition and it doesn't even see the drive to recover information from it....i fear i'm going to have similar results with the other two but i'll give them a shot tomorrow...

I think it is time for you to try Test Disk for Data Recovery.
TestDisk - CGSecurity

Please go through the online documentation diligently.

First try PhotoRec, which is absolutely safe since it does not write anything to the disk being recovered.

If not successful, then try Test Disk.

Apart from the online documentation these two hands-on trial should help you get a grip on these.

The other thing I always recommend first is to check accessibility with a Live Linux CD.

Good Luck.

Now i'm getting really sick of this....comp just died...instantaneously....wtf keeps causing it to do this....there is no blue screen, no error...it just shuts off...and now it won't boot (even with the probelm HDD removed)

If i can get this thing to come up i'm gonna wipe it and start over...after i recover some docs...i'm tired of this....
