Hello,
Ive been searching for a problem thats bothered me for quiet a while and i just cant seem to fix it, My problem is that when im using my computer it will randomly freeze whether im watching youtube videos, browsing the net or just playing games (Starcraft 2, League of Legends) My music keeps playing in the backround though but i cant change it and then it pauses after a bit. ive reinstalled windows 7, ive tried updating my drivers but it just wont go away, so when it freezes it just stays at the screen it froze at and the sound is like looping and it does not go to a bluescreen or reboot i have to hold the power down. I also did the windows mem diagnostic: Said there was no problems. Recently defragged my laptop also and CC cleaned it as well.

It actually froze in the middle of typing this as well.

Specs:
Win7 Home premium
AMD A8-4500M APU 1.90 ghz
8GB ram

Check in task manager whether a process in eating up your system resources. It can be caused due to to a system process called "Idle process". Sometimes it can use up to 80% of cpu resources causing your system to lag and hang. Don't ask! You can't kill that process because it is a system task.
The only solution in that case is to check all hardware have been installed an properly configured.
Go to msconfig and try disabling non-microsoft services and software and see if the problem persists.
