Hi there!

I have recently purchased a Sony VAIO laptop installed with Windows 7! I am using this on a home network with a Linksys WRT54G@v1 wireless router, but the connection keeps dropping out, and then eventually refusing to reconnect!

The first couple of weeks there were no problems, but now it seems to be getting worse and worse!

I thought it may have been a problem with the laptops wireless connectiviity and so went to a public hotspot, and couldn't connect there either!

I am no genius when it comes to computers, but am starting to get the feeling I have purchased an expensive paper weight!

Can anyone helpp...please! (Plain English would be appreciated!)

Hi. It's most likely interference. Change the wireless radio channel in the router's config.

Thanks for that, but problem still exists! I am at this moment sitting with laptop 1 foot from router and it is still dropping out.
I changed channels from 1 to 13, among others, but problem still not fixed!

Find the latest driver and install it, for the adapter.
