Windows 7 with 160GB HDD

Hello everyone!
This is my first thread here.
I don't know if I should install Windows 7 Ultimate on 160GB HDD WD Caviar Blue.
Other components are:
AMD Phenom II x4 840 3.2GHz
6GB RAM (3x2GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz)
Asus HD 6670 1GB GDDR5
Now i have Windows XP x64...it's served me well.
I'm gamer.Should I install Windows7 on this PC or stay with XP x64?

Welcome Skopljak to the windows 7 forums.

I would recommend going to the asus motherboard site to make sure that you have all the drivers for windows 7, prior to installing windows 7. I would recommend what I do many times. Place another hard disk in the machine and do the install on the new hard disk leaving the old one disconnected so that you have a warm fuzzy in your pocket in case the install goes south. Which does happen and all you have to do is to put the old one back and your back in business..
