For starters do you think both of those would be good enough for security ? Now on to my issue.. currently I'm trying to download this game CABAL Online... It's a pretty decent free 2 play with the option of buying cash shop items but when ever I finish download, it appears that Norton cannot completely scan it which it does automatically so it won't let me run the application and I can't even find it in downloads where it should be (Done 2 times now).. I'm also having some issues with the active protection on Malwarebytes... Seems like malwarebytes continues to block access to certain sites that should be considered safe.. For instance it won't allow me to visit my favorite anime site without putting allow ip every time I try to visit JustDubs - Watch English Dubbed Anime And Movies For Free Online

The IP protection in MBAM still needs some work. Norton and MBAM is a good security measure.

IT will be sufficent, but if you havent spent your money yet, I would really consider, Kaspersky or Eset, running highly sophisticated engines these two are considered the best on the market

thanks Coco but I bought the 2010 pack on ebay when I bought my Windows Ultimate key... So I already spent the cash which leaves me stuck with Norton for the next 2 years.. Also already paid for Mbam but I always used there free version so it was about time they got some money out of me and I wanted full access to it's features for the new Windows

I run the same two but only use malwarebytes for manual scans. You don't need to buy another security suite as norton is fantastic imho.
But if norton is killing your download and you know its safe you can disable norton auto protection, download the files, and then exclude them from future scans/auto detection. To do this go to Settings/Exclusions/ and point Scan and Signature exclusions to the file location.
Also remember that if norton detects something it will quarantine the files so you can always restore them without the need to re-download everything
