hi! i have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop with windows 7 home premium edition 32. i performed an update on the software, when the update was complete i tried to login but the welcome sign wasnt going away. after half an hour i forced shutdowned the computer and restarted it i got two option "startup normaly and "repair (recommended)" i choose to repair the computer a "windows is loading files" text came up and after that an old windows loading screen showed up. the the login-background was displayed and my cursor witch i could move but no login prompt (screen). I shutdown the computer and started in safe mode, the same problem there (no login prompt). ive tried using a system repair dish but i only get the language selection option nothing else after.
when i choose to start from the last working startup the normal "windows is starting" screen shows up but then a blue screen flashes by and the system repairs. id like to fetch some of the data on the harddrive(if possible) if a reset is mandatory.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I havent had access to the internet. I let a company do an advanced error-search. the hardrive was damaged beyond repair. i decided to buy a new drive and it works fine now but thank you anyway for the help.
