windows 7 wont detect my sound card

Onboard Sound

Well like an earlier poster said the onboard sound should be pretty decent till you can get a new card.

Just as a matter of interest, type in Dxdiag into the Start search box and run it, and see what it says about your sound.

What does it say in your Sound Change sound card settings, and do you have any problems
showing up in the Action center.?
