Windows 7 wont shut down says its updating

My laptop says its updating but I left it on over night and it still says updating 1 of 3. Tried mutiple times wont updat are shut down regular.

Look in Task Manager and see what's trying to update.

In task manager is it under a tab?

Windows Update Problems – Error 0x800A138F

I would suggest doing solution 4 first and if that doesn't work.. than 5.

Install those three updates manually, since they seem not to be able to do a background install. Go to the control panel > Windows Update. Get the KB numbers, Google and download them. Then install them manually one by one. Reboot.
