Hi

I've been searching for a while now trying to resolve this problem. There are loads of threads and I've tried loads of solutions like uninstalling and reinstalling drivers etc.

The situation I have is that Windows will sleep and wake perfectly fine if I use the remote that came with my TV tuner card but nothing else. If I try to wake it using the wireless USB keyboard I have it appears to power up but nothing happens. The power light goes from flashing to soluid but there doesn't appear to be any other movement. Equally when Windows Media Centre tries to wake to record it does the same thing.

Are there any suggestions of what I can try and what should I look at (and / or post here) to try and help debug?

Thank you in advance
Dean

Dean,
Sometimes the batteries in my wireless mouse and keyboard go dead. Check those first.
I never have put my computer in sleep. I either use it or shut it off. IMO
Do a search in upper right hand corner for Windows Media problems.
Someone will probably be along to add other input so stay tuned.

Hi, thanks for the post, I have tried it with and without the keyboard plugged in and it does the same thing (Windows MC waking it up to record that is).

I've tried the MST tool and it doesn't make a difference. Also got the most recent BIOS, chipset, graphics and TV tuner card drivers.
